About Us
The Mackay & District Rugby League Referee’s Association has a proud record in the development of referees throughout the region.
Our members officiate in Mackay, Sarina, Proserpine and Moranbah for the Mackay and District Rugby League, Mackay Junior Rugby League and the Mackay Schoolboy’s and Schoolgirl’s competitions.
The association prides itself on our high standards of development. New members of the association often start their refereeing journey officiating in mini modified matches with the assistance of our nationally accredited referee coaches and mentors.
This ensures the on-going success of our association with current members facilitating high level representative fixtures in the Intrust Super Cup Competition.
Our Mission
The Mackay & District Rugby League Referees Association provides an avenue for people who want to become a match official within the game of Rugby League. Both males and females from 13 years of age are welcome to become a Rugby League Referee.
